SHOWDOWN! Fabio Capello flies in for summit with John Terry as Wayne Bridge prepares to take the field at Hull
One on one: Capello arrives at Heathrow today as Terry trains with Chelsea
Fabio Capello has arrived back in London to hold secret showdown talks with John Terry over the shamed star's future as the national team captain.
Terry's sit-down with Capello, who flew into Heathrow this afternoon, will take place within the next 48 hours just as Terry''s England team-mate Wayne Bridge prepares to make his first appearance on the field since news of his former partner's affair with the married Chelsea defender.
Bridge could return to the Manchester City starting line-up at Hull on Saturday after Eastlands fitness coach Ivan Carminati told the Manchester Evening News: 'I spoke to Joleon Lescott yesterday and he is very happy. His knee is very strong and unless things change he could be involved in the next match - and so could Wayne Bridge.'
Sportsmail understands that Terry will train Chelsea on Friday morning - the Blues have a crucial Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal this weekend - before alikely meeting with Capello on Friday afternoon.
England's Italian boss is expected to meet his right-hand man in the national set-up, general manager Franco Baldini, on his arrival in the UK and meet with his captain the following day.

Terry has been telling friends, team-mates in the Chelsea dressing room and anyone else who will listen that he can survive the furore surrounding his relationship with Vanessa Perroncel - Bridge's former girlfriend and mother of his three-year-old son. He has thanked them for their support, blaming the media for his new role as England’s Captain Chaos.
Whatever his views privately, he has been putting on a strong public show and has been encouraged by the reactions of his Chelsea colleagues, including England team-mates Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.
He will find his audience with Fabio Capello entirely more challenging. Capello returns from a relatively peaceful break in Switzerland, where he has been recuperating from a knee operation, to face his first full-blown crisis as England manager.
Does he sack his captain, or back him?
Delayed by a final appointment with his specialist on Wednesday afternoon, Capello will arrive in London on Thursday armed with a dossier on his skipper and an open mind. He wants to hear from Terry his version of events before deciding on his future.
