Head-to-head: Andy Murray must conquer French opponent Marc Gicquel (R)
Andy Murray will play Frenchman Marc Gicquel in the second round of the Australian Open on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old Gicquel won through by defeating Italian Simone Bolelli 7-6 (7/2) 7-6 (7/2) 6-3 in their rain-postponed match
Murray has met Gicquel, the world number 57, once previously on a hard court - in Rotterdam last year. The Frenchman retired with the Scot leading 7-6 (7/2) 4-6 3-0.
The match will be played on the outside Margaret Court arena not before 1900 local time (0800 GMT).
