Host with the most: Kylie Minogue showed off her legs again in a tiny mini dress to host the amfAR Inspiration Gala celebrating men's style with Piaget and DSquared 2 in LA
Australian singer and actress Kylie Minogue has come a long way since her days on Ramsay Street.
She started out in her career being touted as the archetypical 'girl next door' but over the years she has transformed into a stunning beauty.
And she seems to have discovered the fountain of youth, defying belief that she turned 42-years-old last May.
Minogue hosted the amfAR Inspiration Gala celebrating men's style with Piaget and DSquared 2 in Los Angeles last night and was looking effortlessly stylish and flawless.
She showcased her shapely tan legs in a stunning and tiny black lace mini-dress and black patent leather heels.
Her freshly styled hair fell softly to her shoulders framing her face perfectly and her make-up was minimal yet effective - the perfect balance.
Ready for her close up: Minogue's hair and make-up were flawless and her skin was line free and dewy
Kylie is currently in the U.S. on a promotional blitz for her new single Get Outta My Way.
She made appearances on Dancing with the Stars and U.S. showbiz TV show Extra on Tuesday, followed by another performance of her new single on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno before heading over to the amFAR Gala.
Kylie took her hosting duties seriously, holding court with chairpersons Sharon Stone, designer Kenneth Cole and high-powered agent Kevin Huvane during the event which celebrated men's style.
Several big name menswear designers contributed pieces to the event, to be auctioned off, which fit the Black Tie/Leather theme, including Calvin Klein Collection, Kenneth Cole, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Prada and Yves Saint Laurent.
Perfect from every angle: No matter which way Kylie turns the result is the same - absolutely stunning!
52-year-old Sharon Stone opted to dress in leather for the night, looking svelte and stunning in a form-fitting, high-necked creation.
Burlesque artist Dita Von Teese, who performed her show at the Chateau Marmont, was typically dazzling in a floor-length sequined gown.
She tweeted before her performance: 'Show-day! Preparing to perform the Opium Den tonight at AmFar at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.'
She's come a long way: Kylie has really blossomed from the 'girl next door' character in the Australian soap opera, Neighbours that shot her to fame in the 1980s
British singer Natasha Bedingfield wore an unusual gown which featured a white tuxedo vest with black lace detailing and a floor-length pleated skirt.
Pregnant Heroes actress Ali Larter glowed with sleek make-up and hair with a black jacket dress which buttoned over her sizeable bump.
In sharp contrast to fresh-faced Kylie, grunge rocker Courtney Love was looking tired and haggard, with deep lines around her eyes and mouth.
Last month she denied reports of a 'stem cell face lift,' where a patient’s complexion is revamped using their own grafted fat tissue.
Looking her age: Courtney Love, who has been looking suspiciously fresh-faced of late, showed off a few lines and wrinkles
Strike a pose: Courtney Love, who performed at the gala, worked the red carpet in an floor-length satin gown
Her appearance at last night's event is to be expected of a 46-year-old who has led a hard-partying lifestyle for years.
It was widely reported in September that Love had been paying visits to a Park Avenue surgeon in Manhattan, but the Hole singer put her refreshed look down to yoga and darkening her previously platinum blonde hair.
The treatment she was thought to have undergone, which lasts five years, plumps up and tightens the skin and stops the neck from sagging.
And again: She then threw on a fur coat over the Marchesa dress
And while she certainly looks more together than previous red carpet stints, the porcelain doll appearance that prompted the speculation seems to have disappeared.
Courtney appeared to have struggled with deciding on what to wear, clogging up her Twitter feed earlier in the week communicating with designers about possible outfits.
She started off in a floor length satin gown before changing into a strapless Marchesa dress to perform on stage at the event, where guests paid up to $2,500 for a ticket.
Stylish: Dita Von Teese and event chairwoman Sharon Stone each chose to honour a part of the Black Tie/Leather dress code
Glamorous: Singer Natasha Bedingfield and pregnant Heroes actress Ali Larter also attended the $1000 - $2500 a head event
